2020 Nationals Information | July 8

At a recent NEC meeting it was decided that if the rinks are open then the Nationals would go ahead during the month of September. This is of course subject to any government recommendations, rules and guidance applicable to indoor sports. We have set a deadline of 1st August for the rinks to be open for the Nationals to go ahead. If the rinks are not open by the 1st August, then there will not be a Nationals this year. Once we have a clearer picture on what is happening, age groups will be allocated their dates.

Any leagues that have not been completed by the end of August will determine their final league positions using the following criteria.

1. League positions will be determined by the results after every team has played each other once. Results after this will not count towards league placings.

2. If any team in the league has not yet played another team in their league, then all current results will stand and any games not completed or played will be given a 0-0 result and each team will be awarded 1 point.

3. If 1 or more teams finish level on points then normal BIPHA rules will determine league positions as laid down in the current rule book.
